Resolved - The Spark LMS (UK) experienced a temporary loss of service for approximately 30 minutes from 13:15 GMT.

This was caused by a code release which triggered database migrations that ran inefficiently and consumed more computing resourced than was expected, slowing Spark down and eventually triggering timeout errors to users. Sponge engineers identified the cause and took necessary steps to address this incident and returned Spark to full operation at 13:42GMT.
